Responsibilities
- Safely navigate San Antonio's streets to deliver packages and food orders within promised timeframes
- Maintain clean, organized delivery vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve complaints professionally
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and fuel conservation
- Verify order accuracy and obtain proper signatures for high-value deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution hubs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Proven reliability and punctuality in previous work or volunteer experiences
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
