Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Efficiently manage multi-stop delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Verify package accuracy and maintain delivery records through our digital platform
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and troubleshoot delays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Oakland neighborhoods and Bay Area geography
- Proven experience in customer service or delivery operations preferred
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic digital navigation tools
- Pass background check and drug screening as company policy
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
