Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Verify delivery details, maintain accurate records, and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth area streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
