Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to undergo background check
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
