Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to multiple locations with precision and timeliness
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and HOS rules
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside inspections
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays and regional travel
