Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional conduct at customer facilities
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and route planning
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays when required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
