Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within Wisconsin and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
- Represent Swift professionally with all clients and partners
- Utilize advanced GPS tracking systems for route efficiency
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience or equivalent training
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside repairs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
