Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Utilize remote communication tools for load updates and route optimization
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch teams via remote platforms for seamless operations
- Ensure cargo security and delivery verification at all stops
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and communication apps
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties when required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (remote coordination provided)
