Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professional customer interactions
- Document all transportation paperwork accurately and timely
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD technology and route navigation systems
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety-first driving protocols
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (max 2 nights/week)
