Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53' dry van trailer on dedicated routes within a 300-mile radius of Pittsburgh
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance issues
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for accurate hours-of-service tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and resolve delivery exceptions
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in quarterly safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and weather patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adjust schedule for peak delivery periods
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for route navigation
