Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and documentation
- Manage delivery timelines and communicate proactively with dispatch
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years OTR experience preferred)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proven safety record with no major preventable accidents
- Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
