Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight on dedicated regional routes with minimal layovers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections using electronic logging systems
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery status
- Operate modern tractors equipped with advanced safety features
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexible availability including occasional weekend shifts
- Knowledge of hazmat materials handling preferred
