Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading at partner facilities
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Represent Elite Carriers professionally at all client locations
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area and Midwest region
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Previous dedicated route experience preferred
