Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided modern tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
