Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Represent the company professionally with all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD communication
- Flexibility for overnight trips (3-4 nights per week)
- Basic navigation skills and route planning ability
