Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance needs before/during shifts
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients at delivery points
- Utilize route optimization tools for timely deliveries
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR/long-haul driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and basic GPS navigation
- Strong understanding of FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally for cargo securement
- Clean criminal background check and TSA clearance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
