Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely on dedicated regional routes between NC and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Comply with all DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety policies
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and verification
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean, professional appearance and company vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable smartphone for electronic logging and communication
- Flexible availability for early morning starts and occasional weekend shifts
