Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Sacramento and major West Coast hubs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading and delivery timing
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system
- Represent the company professionally with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California weight regulations and mountain driving
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
