Responsibilities
- Operate late-model tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining safety compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records per FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Regional route familiarity (Southeast preferred)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
