Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Handle fragile or high-value items with extreme care and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route updates
- Pass background check and drug screening
