Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies using company-provided vehicles
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify delivery details and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse facilities
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of smartphone navigation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
