Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying weights and quantities as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety, attendance, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
