Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver goods to customers in the Portland metro area and surrounding regions.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/ELD) and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate deliveries and professional interactions.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize route planning.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Strong knowledge of local Portland area roads and geography.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
