Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated destinations on time.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of freight hauling regulations, cargo securement, and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
