Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes, including daily runs into Texas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Fully and accurately complete all necessary delivery and pickup paperwork, including bills of lading and electronic logs.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Ability to lift and maneuver cargo as needed.
- Willingness to travel regionally and adapt to varying schedules.
