Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company protocols.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution according to safety standards.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.
- Route Adherence: Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Interaction: Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and third-party partners.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Training provided for qualified candidates).
- Background: Clean driving record (MVR) and background check required.
- Experience: No prior professional driving experience required; we provide training.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet DOT physical requirements.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic math proficiency.
