Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle condition and safety standards.
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) and paperwork, including Bill of Lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
