Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo using appropriate tie-down methods.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
