Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with proper endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for log management.
