Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated delivery routes within Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
