Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) on long-haul routes between Philadelphia and Florida
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Handle freight documentation and communicate with dispatch for real-time updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia and Florida highway systems
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend work as needed
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
