Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle hazardous materials training certification (when required)
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and logging requirements
- Experience with reefers and flatbeds preferred
- Strong navigation skills and time management abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification a plus
