Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional routes (no-touch freight)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Resolve delivery issues with proactive problem-solving
- Complete all required documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and hazmat awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD apps
