Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes covering Colorado and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery timelines while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS navigation technology
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Colorado highway systems and mountain driving conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
- Must pass comprehensive background check
