Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and maintain clear communication
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient routing and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas/NC routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems and documentation
