Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries
- Plan and execute efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Represent company brand with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Flexible schedule including overnight trips
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel to San Diego, CA routes
