Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Wisconsin and surrounding states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining meticulous delivery records
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Secure and verify cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques
- Maintain clean, organized, and DOT-compliant vehicle documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin roadways and Midwest geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
