Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a professional manner.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securement to prevent damage.
- Deliver products to designated customer locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify delivery contents and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding any delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and background check.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
