Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using manual and powered equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (eDOT, bills of lading).
- Practice safe driving habits to minimize accidents and damage to cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
