Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers delivering freight to regional destinations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Build strong client relationships through on-time deliveries
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices
