Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes within Illinois
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Deliver freight on time while prioritizing safety and efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Illinois roadways and traffic regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assessments
