Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with appropriate equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route progress and delays
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4-5 AM)
