Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Georgia and Southeastern routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery performance
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Georgia roadways and Southeastern corridors
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight routes
