Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for regional routes across Texas and New Mexico
- Maintain meticulous delivery schedules with 99% on-time performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Submit accurate trip documentation and logs daily
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment & random)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills with GPS/Google Maps proficiency
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish preferred
- No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
