Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) adhering to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical readiness.
- Deliver freight on time and in perfect condition, maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
- Handle cargo loading and unloading operations efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
