Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery receipts and handle shipment documentation
- Monitor cargo security and ensure proper handling of all materials
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must reside within 50 miles of San Antonio
- Twic card preferred
