Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated Illinois routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Resolve delivery issues with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Illinois highway systems and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
