Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods safely and punctually
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Plan and execute efficient routes while maintaining delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in trip planning and route optimization
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday shifts)
