Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on designated routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logbooks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation
- Document delivery receipts and resolve shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
