Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) following all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict time schedules and delivery windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to minimize risk and accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
